Enjoying the Warm Weather

Tardif has been enjoying the warm weather this weekend by napping in the sun. Here are a few pics. Isn't he handsome? :-)

Fetch?

Even though Tardif might be embarrassed about it if he found out, I'm going to share a story about him with you:

We have someone stop by the house during the day to let our greys out for some play time in our back yard. He told us that he was playing fetch with the dogs, but only had one ball to throw. One of our resident hounds, LaLa picked up the ball and brought it back to him. Tardif, not wanting to feel left out, picked up a piece of dog poo, brought it over to him, and dropped it right at his feet! Luckily, our dog walker did not throw it for Tardif to play fetch with. :-)

Tardif has such a sweet, loving spirit. He just wants to be where his people are and to be involved in whatever they're doing. He's a fun, silly boy and is going to make the family that adopts him very happy.

Meet Tardif

Tardif has been with us for a week and has been a very good house guest! He was living in a home with other greyhounds, but unfortunately his family was unable to keep him. Because he's been in a home for a while he knows all of the rules already and hasn't had any accidents in the house, or chewed on anything, or tried to counter surf. He is crated for about 9 hours a day at our house and has done very well with that. He gets let out at lunch time for a potty break.

He gets along very well with our two resident greyhounds and is very sweet and cuddly. He's a big boy at 88 pounds, but he thinks he's a lap dog. And, he's very handsome. :-)
